First Time Central Heating
About the grant
Under the governments ECO Scheme, customers can receive funding towards First Time Central Heating. As part of this service we will fit a new boiler, radiators in each habitable room and provide you with wireless heating controls. Each boiler comes with a standard two year warranty for that extra peace of mind.
Based on current prices, the average cost of having a central heating system fitted privately is approximately £3,500, however, taking advantage of a heating grant can save you a considerable amount of money.

To be eligible to receive a heating grant to cover all of the cost of installing a central heating system, you or someone living in the property must be in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits. This grant is also eligible for Private Rented Sector Tenants. Once we have confirmed that you are eligible to receive the grant, one of our Gas Safe registered surveyors will come to the property to carry out a free no obligation survey.
Grant Store are both Worcester Bosch & Vaillant approved installers, and all boilers are installed by fully qualified Gas Safe registered engineers.
To get a new A rated central heating system with grant funding, you must meet the following criteria:
- A member of the household must receive one of the qualifying benefits, a full list can be found here.
- If you privately rent your property, you must have the landlord’s permission
- There must never have been a central heating system in the property previously.
If you believe that you meet this criteria then complete our simple application form and a member of staff will contact you to discuss further.
From completing our enquiry form, most successful applications have new central heating systems installed within two weeks!
After we receive your enquiry, one of our dedicated members of staff will check the details, perform a few online checks on your property and finally will contact you to discuss the process.
If you are deemed eligible then we will start the process of your application by first sending you a simple data protection request that allows us to process your personal information.
Once this is done we will arrange for one of our qualified Gas Engineers to visit your property. Our helpful engineer will inspect your current heating system and conduct a survey on the requirements of your new system. This survey will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
Once our office receives your paperwork, they will contact you to discuss an install date. SIMPLE!
