Our solar team begin by securing scaffolding to your property to help our solar installers fix the mounting system and the solar panels.
Once everything is wired together and generating electricity, we’ll do a final inspection before letting you enjoy years of clean solar energy.
The exact installation time for your solar panels can change depending on things like the size and complexity of your installation. Once we have all the details on your system, we will be able to give you a more accurate estimate.
There are a few things to think about when figuring out if your roof is suitable for solar panels.
A larger, south-facing roof is ideal for capturing the most sunlight and generating the most electricity. Roof materials matter, too – metal or composite shingles are generally easier to work with for solar panel installation.
Most importantly, your roof needs to be structurally sound and free of major damage to support the weight of your panels safely. We’ll check your roof’s suitability as part of our installation process.
Planning permission is not usually needed for solar panels. The main exceptions are if you’re in a listed building or conservation area or if the system is especially tall and visible.
No matter where you’re based in Dorset, our team of solar installers is there to help. Just give us a call to get started.
