Are solar panels enough to power a house?

How much do I get for selling electricity back to the grid in the UK?
This depends on the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) tariff that you’re on. The SEG tariff is set by your energy supplier, and the rates can vary. However, the average SEG tariff in the UK is around 4.5p per kWh, meaning that for every kWh of electricity that you export to the grid, you’ll be paid 4.5p.
