Schemes and Grants To Reduce Your Energy Bills
FAQs
You must have lots of questions. We’ve answered some of the most commonly-asked questions about house insulation and home insulation grants here, but please speak to the team if you have any more.
What is the best type of insulation for a house?
Grant Store deals with three different types of insulation: roof, wall, and underfloor. All three have grants to help fund the cost of purchase and installation under the Government’s ECO4 scheme. If you’re not sure which method of insulation your home would benefit from most, then speak to a member of our expert team, and they’ll be happy to advise you further.
Can you insulate a house from the inside?
Yes. There are a number of ways to do this, including in the loft, underfloor insulation, and even insulating the cavity walls. Any of these methods of insulation will improve the thermal efficiency of your home, cut down on noise pollution, and reduce your energy bills substantially. If you have any questions about having interior insulation installed on your property, give us a call on 01942 918 844.
What is the insulation scheme for 2023?
ECO4, which is the latest iteration of the Government’s ECO scheme, is designed to deliver energy efficiency and heating measures to homes in Great Britain. It’s due to run until 2026, and there’s a whopping £4 billion in funds available. Learn more about ECO4 here.
