How a heat pump installation works with us

  1. Survey and heat loss. An engineer visits, measures every room and checks your radiators and pipework, then works out the heat each room needs.
  2. Design and quote. You get a written design and a price, with the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant shown as its own line.
  3. Installation and handover. Our engineers install and commission the system and show you how to run it.

Heat pump grant in Birmingham

Homes in England and Wales can get £7,500 towards an air source heat pump through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, if the property qualifies. The grant is taken off your quote, so you do not have to find the money up front.

Homes heated by oil or LPG with no mains gas connection can get an extra £1,500 until March 2027, which makes £9,000. Read the government guidance on the scheme.

Is a heat pump a good investment?

Absolutely! If you want to cut down on energy bills and make your home more eco-friendly, a heat pump is a great choice. It reduces your monthly costs while lowering your carbon footprint.

The cost varies depending on the type of system and your home’s details – like size, insulation, and energy usage. For air source heat pumps, try our free online calculator for an estimate.

What’s the lifespan of a heat pump?

Most heat pumps come with a 10-year warranty, but with proper maintenance, they can keep running even longer.

What are the running costs like?

Heat pumps are generally cheaper to run than traditional heating systems. Your exact savings will depend on things like:

  • How much heat you and your home need
